Asian Language School:
Asian Language School is an online language trainer based in Sydney, Australia and the U.S., and specializes in teaching adults the Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Indonesian languages and cultures. Our objectives are to simplify the way Asian languages are taught, support adult learners and organisations in developing their Asian language skills including cultural awareness, through the use of relevant and up-to-date teaching resources.
Online Japanese Classes:
Beginner 1 Japanese
In this 10 hour course, you will learn Japanese writing systems: hiragana, katakana, and kanji. Some conversational skills covered include introducing yourself, describing your daily activities, talking about likes & dislikes, and asking for and giving direction. Lessons are based on Genki textbook chapters 1 to 5.
Beginner 2 Japanese
This course is based on Genki textbook chapters 6 to 9. You will learn more grammatical points and conversational skills. In addition, you will learn to read and write short letters, and learn a set of kanji in each lesson.
Intermediate 1 Japanese
This course is based on Genki textbook chapters 10 to 14. You will learn conversations related to job hunting, health, and holidays. You will also learn to read longer passages and produce different types of writings.
Intermediate 2 Japanese
This course is based on Genki textbook chapters 15 to 19. In addition to the textbook materials, you will learn more from real life media to hone your listening and reading skills.
Advanced 1 Japanese
This course is based on Genki textbook chapters 20 to 23. Your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills will be developed further.
Advanced 2 Japanese
Materials are provided by the instructor. Learning contents can be more specialized toward your needs.
Private Class
Enjoy a high level of interaction with your instructor with contents tailored to your personal interests.
Group Class (Fixed date and time)
Learn with up to 3 other people. Lessons are offered once a week for 10 weeks.
Group Class (Flexible date and time)
Arrange your own group and select your preferred date and time for each lesson.
