Study animation design and production this summer in the UK's No. 1 Arts University! Located on the south coast of England, only 2 hours from London, Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) provides 2 or 3-week creative summer courses to UK and international high school students (ages 16+) and college students. Our animation and character design summer course allows you to access our world-class facilities and highly-acclaimed teaching staff, while also creating a valuable network of new friends and expert tutors. On successful completion of your course, you are awarded an official AUB Certificate of Attendance - a valuable addition to your CV or portfolio.

• Introduction to Animation Summer Course:
2-3 week camp for UK & international students - teenagers and youth 15+ years old.

Learn the fundamentals of animation, including how to animate simple objects, character design, and story development.

Through a series of seminars, workshops, and practical sessions, students explore the 12 principles of animation in theory and practice.

Gain an insight into the world of animation and character design with our course focusing on hand drawn animation, with the chance to explore cutout and stop motion.

At the end of the course, there will be a screening of the animated films created during the course with the opportunity for critique and feedback.
