If Canadian passport is lost or stolen abroad, it must be reported to the nearest Government of Canada office abroad.

Egyptian citizens need visas to visit Canada. Applicants must meet some basic requirements to travel to Canada:

• Have a valid travel document, like a passport;
• Be in good health;
• Have no criminal or immigration-related convictions;
• Convince an immigration officer that they have ties – such as a job, home, financial assets or family – that will take them back to their home country;
• Convince an immigration officer that they will leave Canada at the end of their visit;
• Have enough money for their stay;
• May also need a medical exam and letter of invitation from someone who lives in Canada.
