Saint Martin's Institute of Higher Education provides Diploma and Honours Degree programmes in Accountancy, Banking, Business, Economics and Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, International Business, Information Systems and Management, Creative Computing, and Computing and Information systems.

The only university in Malta is the University of Malta, founded in 1592, it became a university in 1769. It is the oldest university in the Commonwealth outside of the United Kingdom.
