Undergraduate Degree Programs:

Early Childhood Education:
The program focuses on the holistic development of the child: physical, social, emotional, moral and cognitive.

Undergraduates gain exposure to different settings through observation, practicum, school visits, and hands-on training to gain the experience needed to develop and refine their skills as professionals.

The major prepares leaders who are willing and capable of cultivating the potential of the nation’s children.

English and Translation:
The program in English and Translation is designed to provide students with a high level of communication skills, a scientific knowledge of the English language, a thorough training in translation, and the capacity for appreciating and analyzing literature.

It also endows the learner with various skills essential for teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). To achieve its goals, the program offers a variety of courses in language, translation, and literature.

Psychology:
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology at Effat University provides students with a comprehensive research-based understanding of the human mind and human behavior in the context of different socio-cultural perspectives.

The program aims to translate psychological concepts in practical way, to nurture sensitivity and to develop skills in students that enable them to deal effectively with the highly demanding challenges of professional and personal lives and to improve the quality of life by contributing to the solutions of social problems.

The major in Psychology offers a concentration in one of two main areas:
- Counseling Psychology
- Educational Psychology

Architecture:
The Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture degree is intended for students seeking a professional career in architecture.

The curriculum is designed to meet the requirements to prepare the graduate for professional practice in Saudi Arabia and throughout the region.

Electrical & Computer Engineering:
There is a growing need for female engineers with a strong educational background in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Effat University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Students in the ECE program will be introduced to topics important to the computer engineering field such as computer hardware design, computer networks and software engineering, as well as to topics in electrical engineering, such as communications and signal processing, microelectronics and integrated circuits, wireless communications, microwaves electronics, computer-aided design and control systems.

The ECE Department offers four areas of concentration:
- Digital Systems
- Communications
- Microelectronics
- Control Systems and Robotics

Computer Science:
The Computer Science program prepares students to be active participants in the expanding information revolution, and to use computers in solving the problems of modern life. The program provides an in-depth study of the theory, design and applications of computer systems.

Students develop the skills needed to design, create, administer and apply such systems to any field.

Graduates will be able to step into careers in many sectors of society such as banking, health care, education, manufacturing, retail, advertising, and the government.

Information Systems:
The Information Systems major is primarily concerned with the utilization of information technology (IT) in different business and management fields.

Much of the success of modern-day business depends on information and how it is used.

Time availability, consistency, accuracy, and completeness of information have become important success factors for many different business enterprises.

Entrepreneurship:
The Entrepreneurship program provides an in-depth study of the major concepts and tools in the theory and application of Entrepreneurship.

Students will acquire knowledge and skills covering a range of strategic aspects of Entrepreneurship including opportunity recognition, launching new ventures, determining market feasibility, financing for business ventures, managing new ideas in big corporations, dealing with social entrepreneurship, technological entrepreneurship and some other related issues. 

Operation and Information Management OPIM:
The Operations and Information Management concentration provides an in-depth study of the major concepts and tools in the theory and application of ‎modern Operations and Information Management techniques.

Students will acquire knowledge and skills covering a range of strategic Operations and ‎Information Management functions including Operations management, system implementation, Supply chain management, e-businesses. 

Human Resource Management:
The human resources management (HRM) program provides an in-depth study of the major concepts and tools in the theory and application of modern human resources techniques.

Students will acquire knowledge and skills covering a range of human resources management functions including hiring and staffing, training and development, performance appraisal, and reward management.

Finance and Accounting:
The Finance and Accounting program provides a comprehensive knowledge of the main theories, concepts, and tools in the areas of corporate finance, investments, financial markets and institutions in global setting.

The program emphasizes on the implications of important finance issues from the perspective of various stakeholders such as individual investors, corporations, financial institutions, and policy makers learning for life .

Marketing:
The Bachelor of Science in Marketing (B.Sc. in Marketing) degree will provide an in-depth study of the major concepts, frameworks, and tools for understanding the theory and practice of modern marketing.

Students will acquire knowledge and skills covering a range of strategic marketing functions including customer relations, sales, advertising, pricing, eCommerce, marketing communications, and new product development.

General Education:
A broad-based General Education experience contributes student achievement of intended learning outcomes (ILOs) for undergraduate education and lays a solid foundation future success in a field of specialization.

The General Education program at Effat University provides learners with the foundation skills necessary for success in variety of disciplines.

Skills are developed through a series of courses focused on specific areas: Written & Oral Communication; Technology Literacy; Research; Religion, Culture & Ethics; Mathematical, Scientific & Logical Reasoning; Interdisciplinary Studies; and Careers and Professions.


Graduate Degree Programs:

Executive Masters in Islamic Financial Management (XIFM) program:
The mission of the Executive Masters in Islamic Financial Management (XIFM) program is to cater to a wide range of conventional and Islamic financial institutions managers including investment bankers, portfolio managers and risk management specialists.

The program distinguishes itself by providing the necessary management techniques in fulfilling the potential of Islamic finance applications, assessing risk, evaluating performance and efficient decision making, in order to strive in a highly competitive industry.

IE MBA Program:
The IE MBA Program offers excellent teaching by international faculty and discussions with local experts from the industry.

It will also allow participants to acquire the solid working knowledge of the most innovative management techniques, with a marked emphasis on new technologies and eminently practical methods to develop the management skills that increasingly differentiate successful professionals.

Participants who complete the program successfully will achieve the Master in Business Administration degree, granted by IE Business School as well as the official masters in Business Administration degree granted by IE University.
