Established in 1983, Southern States University is a private American university with two campuses in San Diego, and one in Newport Beach in Orange County, south of Los Angeles. We offer intensive courses for beginner through advanced English studies, as well as TOEFL test preparation courses. A certificate is awarded upon successful completion of your program.

Intensive English Course:
- 18 hours weekly (Monday through Thursday)
- Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar are taught at each level.
- Elective classes included: Idioms, Business English, Current Events, Vocabulary, or Conversation.
- Available at our San Diego campuses (La Jolla,  Fashion Valley), & also our Newport Beach campus. Our Intensive English Program prices start at $190/4 weeks at our Fashion Valley campus.

TOEFL Test Preparation Program:
Course features include:
- 18 Hours per week
- 3 hours TOEFL + 1.5 hour topic class per day
- Monday through Thursday
- Available mornings at our Fashion Valley, La Jolla, and Newport Beach campuses

Applied Business Skills Development Program: 
For students with an advanced level of English - and has the following subjects (each one lasts 4 weeks)
Entrepreneurship,  Marketing, Business Law, Operations Management, Strategic Management, Public Speaking.

English + Business Degree Program:
SSU also provides undergraduate (BBA) and graduate (MBA) business degree courses. We can customize a program that includes degree program classes plus intensive English study, to adequately prepare you to succeed with your higher education studies in the U.S.
