The British Consulate General in Amsterdam provides essential services and consular assistance to British nationals in the Netherlands & the Dutch Caribbean (Curacao, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, St. Eustatius & Saba).

Urgent assistance is provided to those who in the Netherlands if: You need urgent help (for example, you’ve been attacked, got arrested or someone has died). In this case please call the British Consulate General on +31 (0)70 4270 427.

British mission in Netherlands provides these consular services:

• A limited number of notarial and documentary services;
• Passport issuance, extension;
• Emergency travel documents;
• Assistance in case of detainment;
• Assistance in case of emergencies.

If British passport is lost, stolen, damaged or expired, British nationals can apply for an emergency travel document by using an online form on the British Embassy website. If passport has been stolen, it must be reported to the local police station and a police report must be obtained and later provided when applying for an emergency travel document.
