The government of the United Arab Emirates opened its Embassy in Stockholm in 2004, as a direct result of the outstanding and strategic relationship with Sweden. The main mission of the Embassy is to strengthen UAE's policy with the Swedish government on different issues like politics, economy, social and culture.

Consulate section of the United Arab Emirates Embassy is responsible for:

• Authenticating certificates, documents;
• Processing visa applications;
• Other notarial services.

The UAE embassy in Stockholm does NOT issue any type of visas in the present time. Swedish & Danish temporary passports (provisoriska pass) are NOT eligible for travel to the UAE.

Nationals of Sweden holding 6 months valid ordinary passports are permitted to enter the United Arab Emirates without pre-obtained Entry Visit Visa. However, the Entry Visit Visa will be granted by the UAE Authorities upon arrival at any UAE ports (air, land and sea) valid for 90 days and free of charge.

The consulate section will be closed on last working day of every month and on UAE and local public holidays.
