Turkish Embassy in India is accredited to India, Nepal and Maldives.
The Embassy is supported by the Turkish Consulates General in Mumbai and Hyderabad, and Honorary Consulates General in Male and Kathmandu all operating under its wing.
The Embassy’s Consular Office renders consular services to the resident Turkish citizens in Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and the states at the North-east region, whereas the Turkish Consulate General in Hyderabad render services to the resident Turkish citizens in Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and Chattishgarh States; and the Turkish Consulate General in Mumbai render services to the resident Turkish citizens in Maharastra, Gujarat, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu States as well as the Union Territory of Pondicherry. The Embassy and the Consulates in Mumbai and Hyderabad also serve the Indian, Nepalese, Maldivian and the other third country citizens in their respective regions.

In case Turkish passport is lost or stolen while traveling abroad, it should be immediately reported to the local police. Turkish diplomatic mission can issue a new passport.
Diplomatic passport holders of India are exempt from visa for their travels to Turkey up to 90 days. Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders with a valid Schengen member or USA, UK, Ireland visa or residence permit may get their single entry e-Visas valid for one month.
If an invitation letter is submitted for a Touristic Visa application, it must include the inviting person's TR Identity Number, clear identity, the list of invitees, permanent address, contact number, length and purpose of stay and the affinity with the applicant must be stated in the letter. If the inviting side is an organization or a company, tax registration certificate of the organization will be required. In the invitation letter it is also required for the inviting person/authority to pledge for covering victuals and accommodation expenses and for taking their own responsibility. The applicant is required to have sufficient and/or regular remunerations.
The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
