In case of a lost/stolen passport in a foreign country, Thai nationals must file a lost passport report to the local authorities and bring a notification along with documents proving the applicant's Thai nationality to the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate General to apply for a new passport.

According to Tourist Visa Exemption Scheme, citizens of France may enter Thailand without a visa for stays not exceeding 30 days.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
