In case of loss or theft, expiry, approaching the expiry date, damage or lack of free pages in a passport, to return to Spain, the consular office may issue a laissez-passer travel document valid solely for returning to Spain.
Chinese citizens need visas to visit Spain.
In case of journeys undertaken for the purposes of tourism or for private reasons, the presentation of any of the following documents may be required:
- A supporting document from the establishment providing accommodation or a letter of invitation from a private individual if the foreigner concerned is staying in their home, issued by the Police Station corresponding to their place of residence. Under no circumstances shall the letter of invitation replace the foreigner's accreditation of all other entry requirements.
- Confirmation of the booking of an organised trip, indicating the itinerary.
- A return or round-trip ticket.
- Foreigners must demonstrate that they have sufficient means of support available in order to enter Spain. The minimum amount that must be substantiated is € 64.53 per person per day, with a minimum of € 580.77 or its legal equivalent in foreign currency.
The Embassy is closed on Public Holidays.
