Canadian passport holders do not require a visa for the entry purpose of a short term visit up to 180 days. Permission to stay is given at the time of entry. If Canadian citizens wish to engage in commercial activities during their stay in Korea, they must obtain a Korean visa.
The visa processing time is five working days for most visas. Please take note of the Embassy holidays listed in the "Embassy Notice" section under "Mission Introduction." For cases in which the visa approval process will take longer than five days, the applicant will be notified of the delay.
Only cash and money orders are accepted. Money orders should be made out to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. Credit Card and Personal Cheque are not accepted.
