The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda in The Hague is accredited to the Netherlands, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia. Mandate of the mission is: To entertain and strengthen good relations existing between Rwanda and the Netherlands, on government, parliaments, civil society and other institutions levels; To make Rwanda visible and known as: one people, one nation, a secure and stable country in Great Lakes region; To brand Rwanda as liable investment destination; To mobilise Rwandans living in the Netherlands and push for a "economic diaspora".

The Embassy provides these consular services:

  • Issues visas;
  • Issues passports;
  • Issues civil certificates (birth, marriage, legalization of signature, consular cards).

Requirements for a visa:

  • Visa application from duly completed and signed by the applicant (two copies);
  • Valid passport for at least six months;
  • Two passport photos;
  • Invitation letter;
  • Valid round trip ticket and hotel reservation.

It takes up to two days for an applicant to obtain Rwandan visa.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
