Malaysian Embassy's mission is to safeguard and advance Malaysian national interest within its designated areas through proactive diplomacy.

Services provided by the Embassy:

• Passport renewal;
• Issuance of birth/marriage certificates;
• Registration of Malaysians;
• Issuance of visas;
• Travel advice.

Application for a new machine readable passport could be submitted through the Embassy of Malaysia in Riyadh or Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah for onward transmission to the HQ, Immigration Department in PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia. Due to limitation and the schedule of diplomatic pouch, the whole process will take approximately between 3 to 4 months.

Alternatively, application for a new conventional type of passport (not machine readable) can also be made through the Embassy in Riyadh as it will be submitted to the Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah for processing.

Citizens of Saudi Arabia can travel to Malaysia without a visa for stays of up to 3 months.

The Embassy is closed on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.
