Malaysian Embassy's mission is to uphold the country's sovereignty, foster friendly relations with foreign countries, develop and defend Malaysia's interests in the international arena, ensure the safety and interests of Malaysians abroad and extend excellent and efficient services to the Ministry's clients.
Consular services provided by the Embassy:
- Issues and renews passports;
- Issues marriage and birth certificates;
- Registers Malaysians living abroad;
- Issues visas;
- Provides English translation of the Malaysian official documents;
- Provides notarial services;
- Consular assistance to Malaysian citizens in cases of emergency (death, arrest).
Citizens of the Netherlands do not require a visa to visit Malaysia for business or social reasons. The stay in Malaysia must not exceed 90 days. It should be noted that Dutch visitors will need to present a valid Dutch passport, proof of sufficient funds and a return airline ticket upon arrival at the first point of entry in Malaysia. Citizens of other countries should check the list of countries that require visas to enter Malaysia. The average visa processing time is 1-3 days.
The Embassy is closed on Malaysian and Dutch public holidays.
