The Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in The Hague is engaged in offering professional, high quality and timely help and services to all foreigners and citizens of the Republic of Macedonia which by various reasons stay or travel across Macedonia, or are citizens traveling to and residing in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Consular services provided by the Embassy:

• Issuance of visas;
• Issuance of passports;
• Consular assistance to Macedonian citizens and foreigners.

Citizens of the EU member states and citizens of the signatories to the Schengen Agreement may enter the territory of the Republic of Macedonia with valid ID card issued by the competent authorities of the concerning countries. Therefore, citizens of the Netherlands do not need a visa to enter the Republic of Macedonia.

As of February 2008, visas for entry in the Republic of Macedonia are issued under the National Visa System, i.e. the entire procedure is conducted through this system, including the printing of a sticker, containing the photograph of the foreign nationals
