Consular services provided by the Embassy:
- Issuance of passports;
- Issuance of various certificates (birth, death, marriage, divorce, criminal record, etc.);
- Citizenship matters;
- Issuance of visas;
- Registration of Japanese citizens abroad;
- Notarial matters;
- Assistance to Japanese citizens in cases of emergency.
In case of lost or stolen Japanese passport, holders the lost/stolen passport should immediately report it to the local police.
Nationals of Poland are not required to obtain visas to enter Japan when their visits are tourism, commerce, conferences, visiting relatives/acquaintances, etc. However, when Polish nationals engage in paid activities in Japan, or their period of stay exceeds 90 days, visas will be required to enter Japan.
All payments for consular services must be paid in Polish zloty.
The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
