Consular services provided by the Embassy:

• Issuance of visas;
• Voting abroad matters;
• Adoption abroad matters;
• Issuance of national identity card;
• Issuance of civil status certificates;
• Issuance of passports;
• Legalization and certification of documents;
• French citizenship matters;
• Registration of French citizens abroad.

In case of lost or stolen passport abroad, French citizens must report it to the local police authorities and contact nearest French diplomatic mission.

Saudi citizens are required to obtain a visa to visit France. Visa requirements:

• A valid passport with at least two blank pages.
• The application form, filled in and signed.
• Two recent passport-size photographs with a white background, not stapled.
• Payment of visa fees.
• Original letter from the employer or Sponsor in Saudi Arabia.
• One copy of the passport front page and all relevant pages containing previous Schengen, UK, US, Canada visas.
• Additionally for Non-Saudi only: Copy of Iqama and Copy of Saudi Arabian re-entry visa valid beyond the intended date of departure from the territory of the Schengen State.
• Verifiable evidence of sufficient means of subsistence during intended stay.
• Copy of flight reservation including return flight (additionally for non-Saudi only).
• Accommodation (copy of confirmed hotel reservation, rental contract, etc.).
• Original of health insurance certification.

All provided documents need to be translated in English by a certified translator.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
