Embassy of Finland provides these consular services:

• Issues passports;
• Deals with Finnish citizenship matters;
• Issues residence permits;
• Provides consular assistance to Finnish citizens in cases of emergency;
• Provides notarial services;
• Registers Finnish citizens abroad;
• Issues visas;
• Legalization of documents.

In case of lost, stolen or damaged passport abroad, Finish citizens can apply for a temporary passport at the nearest Finnish Embassy. Ordinary passport delivery time is usually approximately 1-3 weeks. For an additional fee the passport can be delivered in 1-3 days.

A visa is not required for Norwegian nationals willing to travel to Finland. Nationals of countries that do not belong to the Schengen area should contact the Embassy to see if they need a visa to travel to Finland.

The Embassy is closed on weekends and public holidays.
