Estonian-Swedish bilateral relations have traditionally been very good and close in the areas of economic affairs, defence and culture. Openness, mutual understanding, trust and goodwill characterise these relations.

Consular services provided:

• Assistance to Estonian nationals abroad;
• Legalization of public documents;
• Issuance of Estonian passports;
• Registration of Estonian citizens abroad.

If Estonian passport is lost or stolen abroad, Estonian citizen should address the closest Service Office for invalidation of the document and, if necessary, for submission of an application for new document.

Nationals of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and any third-country national holding a residence permit of a Schengen State do not need a visa to enter Estonia.

The Embassy is closed on weekends and Estonian and Swedish public holidays.
