Consular services provided:

  • Assistance to Estonian nationals abroad;

  • Registration of Estonian citizens abroad.

If Estonian passport is lost or stolen, Estonian citizens should address the closest Service Office for invalidation of the document and, if necessary, for submission of an application for new document.

Starting from January 1, 2012 Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Warsaw does not proceed visa applications. In order to apply for a visa to Estonia in the Schengen Area, people should contact one of the Estonian Embassies in Latvia, Finland, Sweden or France.

Nationals of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and any third-country national holding a residence permit of a Schengen State do not need a visa to enter Estonia. Polish nationals are required to have only a valid passport or an ID card as a travel document when entering Estonian territory.

Although travel documents are not checked at internal Schengen borders, it is still necessary to carry a travel document (a passport or an ID card) when crossing internal Schengen borders. Competent authorities like police or immigration officials of relevant Schengen State have the right to check travel documents if needed. It should be noted that driving licenses, post, bank or tax cards are not accepted as valid travel documents or proof of identity.

The Embassy and the consular section is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays.
