The Estonian Embassy in Ottawa provides all of the standard consular services:

Appointment is needed for meeting a consul regarding visas, passports and other consular matters. It can be booked by phone, by e-mail or online. For preparation of necessary documentation and confirming data, it is recommended to contact the Embassy two days in advance of the consular appointment.

Please note that all fees for consular services depend on the exchange rate and may change without prior notice. For convenience on should contact the Embassy by phone or e-mail to confirm the current amount.

There are standard procedures that need to be followed in applying for Estonian Passport and Personal Identification Card. In terms of passports, the procedures are somewhat different depending on weather it is a first time application or renewal of existing passport. In both cases the application should be submitted in person to the Embassy of Estonia in Ottawa or at the premises of Honorary Consulate during the visit of the representative of the Embassy.

All passport applicants must appear in person to pick up their passports at the or at the Estonian Honorary Consulates in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Quebec and Halifax. ID card can be picked up in person only at the Embassy and Honorary Consulates in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. Children below the age of 15 may be represented by their parents or guardians. Please note that it may take approximately 2 months from the date of submitting the application or rectifying the deficiencies to receive your documents in Canada.
