Croatian Embassy in the Hague provides these consular services:
- Provides consular protection to Croatian citizens;
- Issues visas;
- Accepts applications for Croatian citizenship;
- Legalizes documents;
- Assists in transporting the deceased (or their exhumed remains) to Croatia;
- Issues passports.
In case Croatian passport is lost or stolen, it should be immediatelly reported to the local police authority which will issue a notification. This notification must be brought to the Croatian Embassy in the Hague.
Pursuant to the Government's decision, starting with 1 January 2014 until the Republic of Croatia fully applies the provisions of the Schengen acquis, all aliens holders of valid Schengen documents do not require an additional (Croatian) visa for entry and short-term stay in Croatia.
Citizens of the Netherlands may enter Croatia with personal ID and no visa is required for short stays.
Other nationals should submit their visa application forms no sooner than three months prior to the date of the intended trip.
Consular fees for consular services can be paid by bank card (PIN, Maestro, V PAY) and a credit card can be used only as an exception.
