The development of bilateral relations is closely related to the care and support given by people from all walks of life in China and Saudi Arabia.

Consular services provided by the Embassy:

• Issuance of visas;
• Legalization of documents;
• Issuance of passports;
• Notarial services;
• Consular protection of Chinese citizens abroad.

Citizens of Saudi Arabia require a visa to visit China. Basic document requirements for a visa to visit China:

• Original passport with at least six months of remaining validity and blank visa pages, and a photocopy the passport's data page and the photo page if it is separate
• Visa application form and two recently taken color photos
• Proof of legal stay or residence status (applicable to those not applying for the visa in their country of citizenship)
• Photocopy of previous Chinese passports or previous Chinese visas
• Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China.
• If necessary, the consular officer may require the applicant to provide other documents or supplementary materials, or require an interview with the applicant.

The Embassy is closed on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.
