Embassy provides these consular services:

• Assistance for Canadian citizens in cases of emergencies;
• Issuance of passports;
• Dealing with citizenship matters;
• Issuance of certificates (birth, death, marriage);
• Dealing with child adoption;
• Allowing Canadian citizens living abroad to participate in electoral events.

In case of lost or stolen Canadian passport, citizens should report the loss or theft to the nearest Government of Canada office abroad.

The Visa Section of the High Commission of Canada to the United Kingdom is responsible for processing visa applications for citizens and residents of Norway.

Citizens of Norway do not require a visa to enter Canada as visitors. Citizens of other countries should check the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website to see if they require a visa to enter Canada.

All consular fees must be paid by credit card.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
