Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in the Hague provides these consular services:
- Issues visas;
- Issues new Bangladeshi passports, renews old Bangladeshi passports, deals with endorsement/change/correction in Bagladeshi passports (all three hand-written) and issues machine readable passports (MRP);
- Provides attestation/legalization services;
- Issues travel documents.
In case of lost passport, the following is needed:
- Presence of the applicant at the Embassy for an interview;
- Birth certificate and nationality certificate duly attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka;
- Photocopy of previous passport;
- Police report for the lost passport;
- Following the steps for machine readable passport issuance.
- Duly filled in visa application form with three recently taken passport size color photographs;
- Flight details and/or bookings for visiting Bangladesh (confirmed ticket is not required);
- Original passport valid for at least 6 months with two empty pages along with copies of the information page (other than Dutch, Polish, Croatian Bosnian citizens have to submit residence permit or proof of residence issued from the Dutch authorities);
- All applicants bellow 18 years old have to submit a written permission from their parents with the copies of their passports/IDs along with their birth certificates/municipality declarations;
- Additional documents, depending on the purpose of visit (business; study; tourist; short term visit, meeting, seminar, conference; non-government organization related visit; investment or employment; accompanied family members; official, UN organization, ADB, etc.; journalist/media personnel).
The Embassy is closed on weekends and public holidays.
