Australian Embassy in Paris is accredited to France, Algeria, Chad, Mauritania, Monaco and Morocco.

The Australia Consulate General in Noumea is Australia's official diplomatic mission in New Caledonia. The Consul-General is also accredited to French Polynesia and Wallis and Futuna and is the representative to the Pacific Community.

The Australian Embassy in Paris, France does not process visa or citizenship applications. For clients resident in France or Monaco visa processing is undertaken electronically through the online ‘eVisa' service, or by processing centres in Australia, or by the immigration office at the Australian Embassy in Madrid, Spain.

Clients resident in Africa are not processed by the Embassy in Paris or the immigration office in Madrid. Residents of Algeria and Morocco should apply at the Cairo Office.

Citizens of France can apply for a free eVisitor visa. It allows them to visit Australia for visit or business visitor purposes for up to 3 months at a time within a 12-month period. Applicants can apply online.

The Embassy is closed on public holidays.
