Conveniently situated in Amman, Jordan, The British Council offers the University of Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) to adult students from around the world. This is a 4-week TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course leading to an initial English language teacher qualification. It is designed for students (age 20+) with little or no previous teaching experience, and is also suitable for those who have some teaching experience but have never received formal training.
