3-Week TESOL / TEFL Certificate Course:
Teaching Nomad's experienced team collaborated with a number of seasoned ESL and TEFL trainers to create a unique curriculum.

Our course focuses heavily on applicable teaching skills rather than on pedantic theory to build the confidence needed to be an effective teacher. Features include:

- Duration: 21 days (15 class days)
- Study time: 120 hours
- Class Size: 3 - 8
- Instructors: 1 full-time teacher and guest lecturers.

All graduates will receive a customized TEFL resume and basic training on how to interview and give demo classes. Will also give candidates access to dozens of job databases should they not be interested in pursuing a career in China.

Our in-class TEFL course can be divided into roughly 4 parts. Part 1 concerns itself with an introduction to English teaching, and the different approaches to language instruction.

In Part 2, we delve deeper into teaching, and discuss the qualities of a good teacher, theories of language acquisition and classroom management.

The lengthier third and fourth parts deal with lesson planning and teaching individual language skills. You observe professional teachers as well as teaching your own students.

You learn how to assess and improve your own classes. Finally, we help you write your 'teaching abroad resume' and assist you in your job hunt!
