Teaching English as a Second / Foreign Language (TESL / TEFL) Certificate:
Duration: 120 hours. 6 weeks for Summer intensive day sessions / 15 weeks for Fall/Spring evening sessions

This certificate program prepares individuals from a variety of backgrounds to effectively teach English, both at home and abroad.

The program provides professional development and guidance in finding employment in the field with a strong emphasis on hands-on training and practice with English-language learners in a university setting.

Sessions are taught by master teachers with extensive experience in TESL/TEFL, teacher training, and curriculum development.

TEFL Certificate for International Teachers of English
Duration: 120 hours

This program provides opportunities for peer-teaching, discussion, and development of teaching materials and strategies. The program includes lectures and workshops, and class observations are also available.

All sessions are taught by master teachers who have extensive experience in teaching EFL and ESL, teacher training, and curriculum development.

As a participant, you learn and practice techniques for teaching reading, writing, grammar, oral/aural skills, culture, video, and computer use. You also learn to develop effective lesson plans and tests. Students also receive:

- A Certificate of Completion.
- Full use of all University facilities, including the library, media center, and computer labs.
- Orientation, placement, and an information packet.
- Instructional supplies and materials.
- Optional accommodation in homestay (private bedroom with shared or private bath) and two meals per day.
