StudyCELTA: CELTA & Delta Courses Strasbourg:
Get certified as an English language teacher in France! StudyCELTA provides the internationally-recognised University of Cambridge CELTA and Delta course moduless at our teacher training centre in Strasbourg. Located in the Alsace region of eastern France, close to the border of Germany, Strasbourg is the official seat of the European Parliament.
Our training centre is a very modern building just 1km from the city centre. Equipped with comfortable teaching rooms, a media centre, library and cafeteria, it provides the perfect environment for completing CELTA and Delta training. Accommodation can be arranged by the teacher training centre for trainees from outside Strasbourg.
Qualified & Experienced Faculty:
Cambridge ESOL maintains very strict criteria for the selection of its CELTA trainers and Strasbourg is no exception! Our head trainer established ESOL Strasbourg in October 2010. She is specialised in Teacher Development, and is dedicated to the goal of improving the status of ELT trainers in France through training and qualifications. Our other trainers have worked extensively as teachers and teacher trainers around the world, have published a large number of coursebooks and teaching materials and are well-known speakers at TESOL events.
- CELTA; Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults:
Available all year-round, our full-time CELTA course is 4 weeks in duration and provides an excellent introduction to the teaching of English as a foreign language. Ideal for those with no experience at all or for those who have experience but want to earn a formal qualification, CELTA is one of the few ESL teacher certificate programs that involves practice teaching.
- Delta Training: If you have substantial experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages, and are ready to progress in your career, you need the Delta course. Available once a year, this is the modular course, and you can choose to take 1, 2 or 3 modules.
The facilities were clean and spacious. The only down side was that there was only one copy machine for the whole building.
My tutors were extremely helpful, providing constructive criticisms, spot on feedback and always ready to help.
The course has been really useful in the sense that I feel like I’ve learnt a lot during such a small amount of time.
If you enjoy English and are organised go for it! CELTA is short but intense. It will be a challenging but rewarding experience that will not only train you for your future job but also offer a stimulating experience both intellectually and personally.
