Situated in Playa del Carmen, on the beautiful Rivera Maya on Mexico's Caribbean Coast, our 4 week CELTA courses are available year round.
The teacher training centre in Riviera Maya consists of two adjoining buildings: a colonial style house with a domed roof and terrace at the front which houses the reception, two large student apartments (not to mention an exclusive French restaurant called Byblos!); and a new, purpose-built building at the back that contains the teachers' room, the study room, the Internet access room, offices, the classrooms and two more student apartments.
There are 10 spacious classrooms in total, all with air-conditioning and views of the garden, which is full of exotic trees and plants. There is also the bar area in the garden where students can relax and socialise after class.

TESOL International Mexico is located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, one of the most welcoming and hospitable towns in Mexico, in the highlands of the southern Mexican state of Chiapas. The TESOL International Mexico four-week TESOL/TEFL certified teacher training course consists of 120 hours of practical and theoretical input, observation of experienced teachers, supervised self-directed study and reflection and hands-on teaching practice. The GVI 100-hour TEFL course is offered in Tulum, Mexico and Phang Nga, Thailand. The GVI TEFL course was written to train people interested in sustainable development and conservation. The goal is to prepare people to teach in communities which are developing rapidly in response to tourism and assist local people in accessing the revenue in their own community, thereby participating more fully in the changes happening in their own community. While the focus is on teaching oral English with few resources in remote communities, the course prepares teachers well for teaching in different contexts anywhere in the world. The course runs Mon-Thurs., with cultural and environmental activities and projects on Fridays. The course fee includes shared accommodation and food for a full 5 weeks, plus cultural activities, excursions, and a first-aid course.
• International Language Institute (ILI) offers an 8-week TESOL / TEFL certificate program at our school in Washington DC. • This comprehensive ESL teacher training course has a practical focus and will equip you with the skills you will need to teach English as a Second Language in the United States or abroad.
• The course is offered every 8 weeks, year round. In addition to our TEFL / TESOL certification course, we offer a range of English courses to students from around the world.
• Our 120-hour TESOL / TEFL certification course centers on practice in teaching the four basic language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as the sub-skills of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.
