Inspired by the most renowned TESOL programs in the world, the New York English Academy TESOL program focuses on American English, and is available with full-time and part-time hours (8-weeks up to 1 year).

New York English Academy was founded in 1998 as a business career school in Manhattan. We are a premier language school offering a variety of high quality English courses.

New York English Academy relocated to the Wall Street area, the world’s financial center, in December 2014.

TEFL / TESOL English Teacher Certification Program:

• Full-time options (18 hours per week) and part-time options (16 hours per week) available

• Inspired by the Cambridge University CELTA and the Trinity College TESOL

• Distinct focus on American English                 

• Students learn to teaching the four basic skills of American English: reading, writing, listening, and speaking
