The TEFL Academy of Arizona in Old Town Scottsdale offers Arizona's only in-class 120 hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate course. This intensive course is available during weekdays or weekends, and provides our trainees with the confidence and know-how to plan a lesson and teach English in ESL schools nationwide and around the world.

On successful completion of the TEFL Certificate program, you will be awarded a TEFL Certificate that is recognized worldwide as including all components of TESOL, TESL and TEFL teacher training.

120-Hour TEFL Certificate Course - Full-time/ Part-time options: 
- TEFL Certificate Weekday Course for native speakers of English (4 weeks, weekdays)
- TEFL Certificate Weekend Course for native speakers of English (12 Saturdays)

Courses include:  Evaluated practice teaching in a real ESL classroom (6 hours); Observation of experienced ESL teachers in the classroom (6 hours).

Our Academy has real ESL adult students, available from the Arizona Language Center, who attend regular ESL classes every day at the center and then return for free classes when our trainees are in session.
