Target International Student Center:
Target International Student Center, located in Somerville (15 minutes from downtown Boston), Massachusetts, is an international language school accredited by the Massachusetts Board of Education and authorized by U.S. Federal Law to receive international students. ESL Program (Full & Part Time):
Our ESL Program is designed for students that want to learn English or just improve their English skills. We give strong support to students that have no previous knowledge in the English Language with trained teachers and our special software for beginners. For our intermediate and advanced students we have a course that brings more than a regular ESL: students learn English based in everyday events using newspapers, Internet, advertisements and much more.

Business English Course:
In our Intensive ESL Business course you will improve your business English communication skills and learn about the way Americans and British do business. For two weeks you will practice your listening, writing, vocabulary and your conversation skills everyday. The program is designed by Dave J. Filimon - one of our certified instructors - for small groups of executives or individuals who want to improve their business English skills and learn the difference between American and British business vocabulary. This course also suits the specific needs of most companies that require private group courses and as well as individual job needs.

TOEFL Preparation and TOEFL Exam:
The Test of English as a Foreign Language - TOEFL is required by many Colleges and Universities for non native speakers to measure their ability to use and understand English as it is spoken, written, and heard. The preparation course offers an introduction and review of Listening Comprehension, Structure and Written Expression, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and Essay Writing. Previous knowledge of English is necessary in order to apply to TOEFL Preparation. Target International Student Center is an ETS authorized TOEFL Test Center.

Teacher Preparation:
If you are a fluent English speaker and want to teach on English learning institutions abroad, this is the course you need. Our TEFL (Teacher of English as a Foreign Language) gives you the major qualification required to teach in non-native English speaking countries or even at the United States. Upon completion of our TEFL Certification you will be prepared to teach English in any country, experiencing new opportunities and different cultures through the world.
