Columbia International College:
Columbia International College is the largest private junior and senior boarding high school in Canada. Located in Hamilton, Ontario, Columbia believes in the individuality of each student and tailors its resources to effectively meet the unique academic, social, emotional and physical (ASEP) needs of our students. Students who are under 16 as of July 31 of each year are placed in the YAA Program to ensure they receive the special care and attention they need to grow and mature into responsible adults.All YAA students are assigned to houseparents who provide around-the-clock care. Our small student-to-parent ratio of 1:15 allows houseparents to care for each student like he or she would be cared for at home.

The YAA program provides age-appropriate guidance and care to our young students as they transition into independent living. Through this program, our young students have the rewarding experience of developing routines and skills to succeed at university and in life.

A+ Academy

A+ World Academy is a non-profit high school that sails around the world on the Norwegian sail Ship ’Sørlandet'. Students read international curriculum (Advanced Placement courses) on board, meet different cultures around the world and live in a challenging maritime environment that fosters independence, communication, teamwork and leadership.

We pride ourselves on close support of the students through a 7:1 teacher-student ratio, class sizes from 1-18 and support around the clock. We emphasise cultural understanding through encounters with people from around the world, and challenge our students daily to become the best versions of themselves.

Our program is demanding, and not for everyone. Not only are you a student at the school, but you take part in sailing a fully-rigged Tall Ship. Located in North Vancouver, BC, Bodwell High School is a private co-educational day and boarding school offering grades 8 to 12, and university preparation to Canadian and international students. With our trimester system, students' learning is accelerated. Students can finish one academic grade in two semesters (8 months), and advance to the next grade in the following semester.

For Canadian students, there is the option of using the summer semester to travel overseas and learn other languages while gaining invaluable cultural experience. For international students returning to their home countries, credits obtained at Bodwell are transferable for equivalence.
