International Summer Camp UK - Camp Cooper:
If your child or teenager is an aspiring performer, the Performing Arts summer elective offered by Camp Cooper in Scotland is the perfect choice. Situated close to the city of Perth in Central Scotland (just an hour's drive from Glasgow and Edinburgh), we provide 2, 4 or 6-week residential summer camps for children and teenagers (ages 7-17) from Britain and around the world. We offer a range of electives, including performing arts, media, sports, art and English language tuition. A typical day at Camp Cooper involves 2 individually-chosen elective activities, afternoon activities and evening programmes. In addition, weekend trips are offered.

Performing Arts Course - Summer Elective - 7-17 year olds:
Lights, Camera, Action! In this elective, we explore a range of performance skills from acting, street dance, singing, music and flash mobs. We combine workshops on different theatre skills and work as a group to devise a unique performance for the whole Camp.

Performance activities include:
- Flash mobs 
- Beat-boxing
- Street dance
- Music
- Musical theatre
- Comedy
- Drama

Drama workshops include:
- Warm-up and vocal exercises
- Improvisation activities
- Roleplays
- Mime activities
- Directing and script writing
- Final performance
