Homestay Oxford:
Homestay Oxford in the south of England is an insitution of five years history. We offer a really friendly home in which to live while learning English. We offer a variety of programmes, General English, Business/Professional English. Lessons are normally arranged for the morning and are structured to have three, four or five separate parts covering different aspects and uses of language.

By living in the tutor’s home you have the opportunity to learn in a perfect learning environment. I will aim to get a good idea of your needs (needs assessment) before you arrive but will clarify them further once you start your homestay. The programme I develop will be to satisfy your individual needs and I will be flexible in my approach. Lessons will be tailored to your needs and take into account your level of English and the type of skills you wish to develop. I have a warm and enthusiastic approach and will use my wide teaching experience to help you make progress. I know that a friendly positive approach brings out the best in my students.

Homestay Oxford is situated in a large house located in the City of Oxford. We have taken overseas students for short homestays, normally 1, 2 or 3 weeks, for many years. Oxford is a wonderful place to visit for a short break - it is full of local attractions including the Colleges of Oxford University, our local river Isis (which eventually becomes the Thames in London) and much, much more. Homestay Oxford is a perfect base for exploring Oxford.

We also provide an option where beyond the normal homestay you can have a Tourism/Culture option or an English language option. These are normally for 15 or 20 hours per week; they can be taken as a single person, or for two, if you are a couple or a parent and child. We also offer the services of a guide if you wish to be accompanied on your visits, for example, to London or a beautiful local point of interest such as Blenheim Palace.

Homestay Oxford offers great homestay accommodation in an ideal location, the beautiful tourist city of Oxford, which is full of very interesting historical and cultural features. You can access concerts, theatres, museums, exhibitions, restaurants and pubs as well as sports facilities. You will also have the opportunity to explore further afield, for example, visiting small English villages as well as the famous capital, London. Our homestay is in a large detached house with a spacious garden very close to the centre of Oxford. The extra benefit of studying English with us is that you can access the beautiful city of Oxford.
