Huaxia Chinese School is located in the Samuel Alexander Building (South Wing) of the University of Manchester in its Oxford Road campus, Manchester, North West England. We are listed with Manchester City Council and are the Chinese school officially supported by the University of Manchester.
Model Overseas Chinese Educational Institute:
Huaxia Chinese School was among 55 Chinese schools around the world to be awarded Model Overseas Chinese Educational Institute. This was awarded by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and China Overseas Exchange Association. The award was made on the 1st World Chinese Language and Culture Education Forum held in Chengdu in October 2009. Only 3 Chinese schools in the UK were honoured. The award is for excellence in Chinese language education and dedication to promoting Chinese culture overseas.
