Saint Joseph Academy:
Located in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas, Saint Joseph Academy is a Roman Catholic co-educational college-preparatory school owned and operated by the Marist Brothers of the Schools and offering programs for students in Grades 7-12. In addition to college prep SAT and ACT, honors and advanced placement courses we provide the Champagnat Learning Center, a program that addresses the needs of those students who have been identified as having learning disabilities, have passed the Saint Joseph Academy entrance exam, and who also have the ability to meet the demands of a rigorous college preparatory education.

Founded in 1865, Saint Joseph Academy is an important part of the southernmost tip of Texas community. Serving the children of the lower Rio Grande Valley, predominantly bilingual and bicultural, a significant percentage of our students reside in Matamoros and commute each day. Saint Joseph Academy endeavors to form young men and women who will succeed in university studies.

St. Rita Catholic School was established in September 1954 as a parish school staffed by the Felician Franciscan Sisters. Initially, St. Rita housed seven grades in three classrooms.

Take advantage of your child's quick learning ability to instill language skills in Spanish or English this summer!

Crossing Borders provides Spanish and English summer camps for kids (ages 18 months - 12 years) and teens (ages 13-17) at our language center in Pearland, Brazoria County TX, just south of Houston. 

Offered during June, July and August, our summer language immersion camps are designed to give children & teenagers a unique opportunity to spend their summer break having fun learning or improving in a second or third language.

During our summer camps, kids are grouped according to age, level, and language proficiency. They learn in full Spanish or English immersion from one of our native speaking tutors. They take part in arts & crafts, play games, and learn their target language in a fun, interactive setting. 

Our programs have very specific goals while creating dynamic, energetic classes with emphasis on the target language by using our immersion strategies.

Crossing Borders teachers make every effort to speak in the language being taught 100% of the time. However, we also want the children to feel comfortable in their environment and to be encouraged to love their new language.

Summer, winter, and spring break camps are also offered at our locations in Katy, South-west Houston, Spring / The Woodlands, and in San Antonio. We also teach adults.
Language Immersion Camps for Kids & Teens:

- Spanish Summer Camp for Kids (18 months - 12 years)
- Spanish Summer Camp for Teens (13-17 years)
- English Summer Camp for Kids & Teens (4-17 years)

- Full camp day schedule runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We also offer extended supervised hours before and after camp.
