Quest is an independent, not-for-profit, non-secular, liberal arts and sciences university located in Squamish, BC, just an hour north of Vancouver. This summer, we are opening our doors to students who would like to come to Quest to be immersed in an English program and, at the same time, have a cultural, community-oriented, outdoors experience. Our English summer course is suitable for high school and college students, and lasts for 2 or 3.5 weeks depending on the student's preference.

Quest University Canada is located in the coastal mountain community of Squamish, British Columbia, between Vancouver (70 km south) and Whistler (60km north), host cities of the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The University's 60-acre campus borders on Garibaldi Provincial Park, a protected wilderness area with miles of hiking and mountain biking trails.

Driving Directions to Quest University Canada's Campus at 3200 University Boulevard, Squamish, BC Canada

From Greater Vancouver Lower Mainland

1. Take Trans Canada Highway 1 / Upper Levels Highway and head towards the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal.
2. At Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, continue on Highway 99 North toward Squamish and Whistler.
3. Follow the Highway for approximately 44 km until you reach the Squamish.
4. Continue past the town center. About 5 minutes after the town center is Mamquam Road (you will see a Canadian Tire on the North East Corner of Highway 99 and Mamquam Road).
5. Turn right (east) on Mamquam Road and continue for about 2 minutes.
6. Turn left (north) on Highlands Way and continue up the hill.
7. Once you have reached the top of the hill, turn right (east) on the Boulevard (also called University Boulevard).
8. Continue along the Boulevard up the hill and over the bridge until you reach Quest University Canada.



From the Vancouver International Airport

1. Look for destination signs leaving the airport terminal and follow Highway 99 North into Vancouver. You will pass over the Arthur Laing Bridge.
2. Take the ramp towards Granville Street / City Centre.
3. Follow Granville Street and head north for approximately 7 km. Cross over the Granville Street Bridge.
4. Take the far right lane on the bridge and take the Highway 99 North / Seymour Street ramp.
5. Staying straight on Seymour Street until you turn left onto West Georgia Street / Route 99.
6. Continue on West Georgia Street past Stanley Park and head over the Lions Gate Bridge.
7. Exit the bridge onto the Marine Drive West / Provincial Route 99 North. Once on Marine Drive take the far right lane.
8. Turn right onto Taylor Way / Provincial Route 99 North.
9. Travel up the hill, under the Highway then take a left so as to merge onto the Trans Canada Highway 1 / Upper Levels Highway towards Horseshoe Bay / Squamish / Whistler.
10. At Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, continue on Highway 99 North toward Squamish and Whistler.
11. Follow the Highway for approximately 44 km until you reach the Squamish.
12. Continue past the town center. About 5 minutes after the town center is Mamquam Road (you will see a Canadian Tire on the North East Corner of Highway 99 and Mamquam Road).
13. Turn right (east) on Mamquam Road and continue for about 2 minutes.
14. Turn left (north) on Highlands Way and continue up the hill.
15. Once you have reached the top of the hill, turn right (east) on the Boulevard (also called University Boulevard).
16. Continue along the Boulevard up the hill and over the bridge until you reach Quest University Canada.



From Whistler

1. Look for destination signs leaving Whistler and follow Highway 99 South to Squamish.
2. Follow the Highway for approximately 54 km until you reach the traffic lights at Mamquam Road.
3. Turn left (east) on Mamquam Road and continue for about 2 minutes (you will see a Canadian Tire on the North East Corner of Highway 99 and Mamquam Road).
4. Turn left (north) on Highlands Way and continue up the hill.
5. Once you have reached the top of the hill, turn right (east) on the Boulevard (also called University Boulevard).
6. Continue along the Boulevard up the hill and over the bridge until you reach Quest University Canada.



From Seattle - Pacific Highway Border Crossing

1. Take the Interstate 5 (I-5) North from Seattle for approximately 176 km to the US-Canada Douglas Border Crossing, which is often referred to as the Peach Arch Crossing, or the Pacific Highway Border Crossing, also known as the Truck Crossing. The Peach Arch Crossing goes through Vancouver whereas the Truck Crossing is an alternate route, which by-passes Vancouver.
2. Before arriving at the Peace Arch Crossing, take Exit 275 off of Interstate 5 then follow Highway 15 North to Highway 1, the Trans Canada Highway.
3. Take Highway 1 West and make no turns - the highway takes you through the north-eastern municipalities of Greater Vancouver, across the Port Mann Bridge, over the Fraser River then to the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge (also known as the Second Narrows Bridge), which crosses Burrard Inlet.
4. Continue to take Trans Canada Highway 1 / Upper Levels Highway towards the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal.
5. At Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, continue on Highway 99 North toward Squamish and Whistler.
6. Follow the Highway for approximately 44 km until you reach the Squamish.

1. 3. Continue along Oak Street until you reach the 41 Street intersection, turn left and travel west until you the next major intersection, which is Granville Street.
4. Turn right and head north on Granville Street, which will take you over the Granville Street Bridge into downtown Vancouver.
5. Follow Granville Street and head north for approximately 7 km. Cross over the Granville Street Bridge.
6. Take the far right lane on the bridge and take the Highway 99 North / Seymour Street ramp.
7. Staying straight on Seymour Street until you turn left onto West Georgia Street / Route 99.

English in Canada - International Summer Camp
Courses / Programs
English in Canada - International Summer Camp is offering an English language summer program with a difference for children / teenagers ages 10 to 17 years. Our summer camp is based at the University of Ottawa, close to downtown Ottawa in the eastern portion of Southern Ontario, Canada, approximately 350 km north-east of Toronto.

Each summer, over the past 30 years, 400 international students have enjoyed a unique learning experience. Summer camp participants will improve their English in a multicultural, fun setting, and will make new friends. Our language instructors, as well as activity instructors are university graduates with appropriate degrees. Our classes are limited to 15 students.

For many young students this will be the first time away from home. "Destination Canada" takes total care of its participants. They will be in a friendly and safe environment with 24-hour supervision and health care. Students will be picked up from and returned to Ottawa Airport. "Destination Canada" will make sure that all return flights are confirmed.
