Summer Camp for Kids & Teens in Pennsylvania
Camp Cayuga:
Camp Cayuga is a private, co-educational, residential summer camp for juniors and teens aged 6 - 16. The camp is located on a secluded 350 acre estate in the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania, just outside the village of Honesdale, Wayne County. It’s about a 3 hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia.
Cayuga’s property is divided into 2 campuses - one for juniors and one for teens. With two separate campuses, we can provide two separate programs that are geared to the different age groups on each campus. We offer over 60 activities every day as well as fun trips.
Cayuga features some of the most comprehensive facilities available in camping today: comfortable cabins, 2 pools, private lake, equestrian center (25 horses), tennis center (10 courts), 2 gyms, pottery room, creative arts pavilions, skate park, hockey rink, ropes course, game room, overnight sites, petting zoo, and much more.

Camp Cayuga is nestled high in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. Set on a wooded estate just outside the village of Honesdale, Camp Cayuga is approximatley a 3 hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia. The camp itself occupies 350 acres of unspoiled hardwood and evergreen forestland, embellished with expansive fields and a natural stream-fed lake. Our lake is private and reserved exclusively for the use of our campers. Similarly, our camp is private and situated so as to preserve its seclusion. The most outstanding feature of the site is its natural beauty!
Camp Cayuga's location in the Pocono Mountains provides warm sunny days and cool crisp nights. The mountain air is clean and dry which is a welcome change from the hot and humid sea level climates. The area is also low in pollen and not bothered by mosquitoes and other annoying insects.

Univ of Penn Startalk Urdu High School Summer Program
Courses / Programs
The University of Pennsylvania's Startalk Intensive Urdu Language High School Summer Program is held at the university's Philadelphia campus, located in University City in the western section of Philadelphia City in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. It is a 3-week program and we have places for 20 students. The program is taught by distinguished Penn faculty members who are experts in their fields.Students will receive official University of Pennsylvania transcripts, 1 credit transferable to any university in the US, will have a head start on gaining advanced proficiency in Urdu, and in many cases students can apply for 1-4 year full college tuition scholarships based on their commitment to studying Urdu. Program includes daily snacks and lunches, and learning materials.
Urdu is the national language of Pakistan and is one of the most critical languages for understanding the Afghanistan-Pakistan region. It is an Indo-European language with influences from Arabic, Persian, Sanskrit, and Turkish. This program will provide students with the unique opportunity to study this language before entering college. They will also receive University of Pennsylvania credit for the course.
The University of Pennsylvania's Startalk Intensive Urdu High School Summer program is open to all skill levels (beginner, intermediate) & is meant for high school students entering grades 9-12 in Fall or undergraduate students.

Hills Learning is a language school that provides high-quality Mandarin Chinese classes to adults, teens and children all year-round. This summer, we are teaming up with Chess Educators to provide a unique summer camp experience for boys and girls (ages 5-12) - combine Mandarin Chinese immersion instruction with an interactive Chess program. The program takes place at Léman Manhattan Prep School, in the Financial District of NYC (close to Wall Street).Kids will participate in fun, engaging activities, and they start off the day with a morning wakeup physical activity. In the afternoon, they get engaged in playing Chess and learning fun and effective strategies. All students must sign up for 2 weeks minimum. They can also take the camp for 4 weeks and receive a discount.
Our Chinese language instruction is fun and effective. We follow a textbook designed specifically for children learning Chinese. All language skills are developed, from writing and reading, to speaking and listening. Through interactive games and activities, the students learn the basics of this incredible language.
The chess camp provides an interactive and hands-on approach for kids to learn chess. Chess camp activities include chess instruction and lessons, a chess lab which includes worksheets, problem solving, and more tactics. Kids will also participate in class tournament games with notation and clocks making the camp an exciting and rewarding experience.

Rock & Roll After School, Collegeville PA

Located in Montgomery County PA (just 40 minutes north of Philadelphia), Rock & Roll After School provides 1-week Summer Music Camps for boys and girls ages 7-17. Lessons are held each day with kid grouped by age and ability. Previous music experience is not necessary, and students don't have to play an instrument to join up!During our week of music-related fun, campers form bands to compose an original song, perform in front of friends and family, jam with each other, take part in activities & excursions, and more.

International Summer School at North Country School, Lake Placid NY

Located in New York State, North Country School's International Summer School (ISS) welcomes international students ages 10-14 from July 5 to August 17 for English language and American culture immersion. Two sessions, each three weeks long, offer experiential language instruction in the morning and enriching activities and excursions in the afternoon. Our experienced teachers, small class size and campus offerings provide an exceptional opportunity to improve language proficiency and experience memorable summertime activities.
ISS is designed around individual language needs within small group instruction. Summer students engage in projects and activities that require them to utilize their rapidly developing English language skills. Summer students become proficient speakers, readers and writers.
