The Cate athletic experience is outstanding and we field 22 varsity athletic teams.

We offer a wide range of sports, including basketball, baseball, track, swimming, lacrosse, tennis, soccer, water polo, and softball. Our athletic requirement ensures that each student athlete at every level is always trying - and learning- something new.

At Cate, we also offer intramural options like surfing and dancing. No matter what your current level of play or personal interests, you will find plenty of opportunities to improve your skills while having fun.

If you are trying a new sport for the first time, our experienced coaches will be patient and enthusiastic about sharing their love of the game. If you are already a seasoned athlete, they will help you to reach your performance goals.
