At GADIR in Cadiz located in Andalusia in the South of Spain ,we have been dedicated to teaching the Spanish language for many years to people who are interested in Spain not only for the sun and beaches but for the wonderful Spanish Language.

COURSES: DESCRIPTION AND DATES
Spanish Intensive Course:
This course consists of 5 classes daily, 3 grammar and 2 practical classes. The activities and exercises focus on the development of oral and written skills based on real language communications. This course allows students to improve their oral skills and reach a higher level of linguistic competence in a shorter time.
Levels: All Dates of commencement: Each monday of the year Minimum Length: 1 week

Intensive Course + Private Lessons (Superintensive):
This course consists of 5 classes daily, 3 grammar and 2 practical classes in groups of a maximum of 8 students. But also this course includes one private lesson per day.

Intensive Course + DELE Preparation:
This course prepares students to sit for the exams organised by the Instituto Cervantes. This course consists of 6 lessons per day, 3 grammar, 2 practical and 1 lesson for the specifc exam tests (reading comprehension, written and oral expression, etc.)

4. Intensive “Plus”:
- Intensive + Spanish for Tourism: If you would like to learn or improve your Spanish, and you are interested in working in the tourism sector, this course is perfect for you. It consists of five Spanish language classes per day and one class specifically on “Spanish for Tourism”, in which you will learn the vocabulary and grammatical structures necessary to succeed in this important professional sector.
- Intensive + Spanish for Business: Like the previous course, this course consists of 5 Spanish language lessons per day and one lesson which focuses on the vocabulary and grammatical structures related to the world of business and international commerce.
- Intensive + Spanish Culture: This course includes 5 Spanish language lessons per day and a lesson in Spanish Culture, where you will be able to learn about the most significant aspects of our society, politics, economy, art, literature and history.
- Intensive + Spanish Literature: This course includes 5 Spanish language lessons per day and a lesson in Spanish Literature of the 20th century, where you will be able to learn about the most significant Spanish writers of this period such as Antonio Machado, Federico García Lorca, Juan Ramón Jiménez, etc.

Spanish General Course:
This course consists of 4 classes daily , 2 grammar and 2 conversation lessons. This course combines the study of grammar and vocabulary with practical work in Spanish conversation and pronunciation. Complementary activities include debates, role plays, reading literary texts, newspapers, listening to audio tapes, and viewing films.

General Course + Private Lessons:
20 Spanish lessons + 5 private lessons per week.

General Course + DELE Preparation:
20 Spanish lessons + 5 DELE lessons per week.

General “Plus”:
You can combine your Spanish General Course with five specific lessons per week of Spanish for Tourism, Business Spanish, Spanish Culture or Spanish Literature.

Spanish Conversation Course:
This course consists on two lessons per day and is perfect for students who want to improve their communication skills. The main idea of the Conversation Course is to focus on the students' ability to express themselves in everyday situations. Students work on pronunciation, vocabulary and idioms to further develop their conversational skills.

Conversation Course + Private Lessons:
10 conversation lessons + 5 private lessons per week.

Conversation Course + DELE Preparation:
10 conversation lessons + 5 DELE lessons per week.

Conversation “Plus”:
You can combine your Spanish Conversation Course with five specific lessons per week of Spanish for Tourism, Business Spanish, Spanish Culture or Spanish Literature

Spanish Grammar Course:
Grammar is your friend! This course is to improve your knowledge of the subtleties and complexities of Spanish grammar. Three lessons daily of grammar theory and practice. Levels: All Dates of commencement: Each monday of the year Minimum Length: 1 week

Spanish Course over 50:
This course consists of 4 classes daily (2 grammar and 2 practical lessons), during the mornings. Classes are in multinational small groups (max. 8 students) with the emphasis on oral expression and cultural aspects and all levels are available, including complete beginners.

Perfection Course:
It's a five lessons a day course for those pupils who already have a vast knowledge of Spanish grammar and syntax and who wish to expand upon it. This course combines lexical, syntactical and semantic aspects of the Spanish language which present particular difficulty, with the study of colloquial Spanish, its turns of phrase, its idioms and expressions which are not found in grammar books.
Level: Superior (C2)  Length: 1 or 2 weeks.

Flamenco Course for Beginners:
It consists of two dancing lessons a day and can be followed together with any other Spanish course offered by GADIR. Students who wish to enrol for this Flamenco Dancing Course with GADIR, will learn or perfect “zapateados”, “marcajes”, “braceos” and “cierres” of the different “palos” of flamenco with an expert flamenco dancer, and also in Cádiz, the place were the flamenco was born.
Level: Beginners Length: 1 or 2 weeks

 Carnival Course:
This course consists of 5 lessons a day and is held only during the Carnival period It lasts for two weeks. It is held at all levels and it is a good way to get to know and to enjoy the Carnival of Cádiz, one of the most popular and amusing Spanish “fiestas”, while you practice your Spanish.
Levels: All  Length: 2 weeks

Easter Course:
Six classes daily of a similar nature to those described above, except that this course is held only during the Holy Week, when the “procesiones” leave each of the town’s churches to wind slowly around the streets in the old town every night.

Christmas Course:
The course is 6 lessons per day and covers a mixture of grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The emphasis is on practical communication and speaking skills. Special topics are also taught to allow students to make the most of their time in Spanish over Christmas and the school also provides a special Christmas Programme activities.

Private Lessons:
The pupil decides how many classes he/she wants and what he/she wishes to study in them (so-called "made-to-measure" classes).
