Early Years Montessori:
Early Years Montessori is a private, co-educational and biilingual (Mandarin & English) kindergarten offering Montessori preschool education through a hands-on, experiential approach with an emphasis on respect, independence and inquiry-based learning. We are conveniently located on Sunset Drive in Singapore and provide a safe, rich and caring environment for children aged two-and-a-half through to six years. We offer a unique educational experience that integrates the Montessori philosophy of child development with thorough second language acquisition. Children simultaneously become fluent in Mandarin and English, while learning about the world in an environment that encourages discovery and reflection.

Established in 1996, Early Years Montessori is a MOE-registered kindergarten. In our work to nurture and guide young children, we are firmly committed to Dr. Maria Montessori’s approach and actively seek out innovative and evidence-based ideas to support this work. We are mindful of our obligation to help children acquire the knowledge and skills needed for formal learning later and know our role of providing a holistic learning journey is even more important. We empower our children and staff to make knowledgeable, responsible and peaceful contributions to the local and global community and the environment.

At Early Years Montessori, we host an inclusive environment that embraces the diverse community of our cosmopolitan city-state and welcome families of every race, ethnic, religious origin, and social economic background.  In our dual language immersion and multicultural environment, young children develop an early awareness of the interdependence of cultures - paving the way to an integrated understanding of their place in the world. 

Accreditations:
Early Years Montessori is registered with the Ministry of Education of Singapore and meets the requirements of all related agencies. Our programmes are holistic in nature, meeting or exceeding MOE standards, and supplemented by specialized activities in music, art, community engagement and global understanding.

Two sessions of four-hour, half-day kindergarten programmes for children aged 2½ to 6 years old:

- Morning session:  8:30 am to 12:30 pm
- Afternoon session:  12:30 pm to 4:30 pm
- Extended hours:  9:30 am to 4:30 pm
- We also offer holiday programme during the mid-and year-end breaks

Our Montessori programmes have been deliberately designed to help children become constructive and creative thinkers, with a strong emphasis in independence and respect. They are developmentally appropriate and academically excellent. We provide a unique educational experience that integrates the Montessori philosophy of child development with thorough second language acquisition.
