Solemar-Sicilia Cefalu:
Solemar Cefalu is one of the leading language schools in Sicily, organizing Italian language courses for foreigners. The school is part of the Solemar Sicilia group and it's located in the city of Cefalu, in the province of Palermo, on the northern coast of Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Our Italian language courses are designed and structured by qualified teachers and mother-tongue Italian linguistics experts, with many years of experience in teaching Italian to foreigners.

Intensive Italian Course:
In 2 weeks, beginners will acquire a wide vocabulary and an excellent grammatical foundation which can be used for simple conversation or to continue studying to a higher level of Italian. Students with a basic knowledge of the Italian language can enrich their vocabulary and significantly advance their grammatical knowledge. Advanced level students, such as Italian teachers or graduates, can practice their language skills with our highly qualified teachers and receive a professional certificate at the end of the course.
-20 lessons of 45 minutes, divided into 4 lessons a day.

Personal Italian Course:
This course is complementary to the "intensive" course. During the one-to-one lesson, you will be able to practice the vocabulary and the grammar structures you have learned during the group lessons. You can also have your lessons personalized further, either to focus on a specific area of the language (Italian for cookery, or Italian for travel, for example) or to work over a specific aspect of the grammar which you may be struggling with.
-1 individual, personalized lesson unit per day, for 10 days.

Homestay Program with an Italian family:
In a family, our students have the possibility to know the most common Italian traditions and customs, living in the contexts of "real life", with a more intensive linguistic exercise. Our families are carefully selected not only for their kindness and the comforts of their accommodation, but for their cultural interests and their availability to offer our students half board.

One-to-one / one-to-two private classes:
This kind of Italian language course is tailored to your specific needs and you can use it to further develop your general Italian skills. You can also choose to study specialised language areas, such as Italian for tourism, for art, for cooking, for literature etc. The length of the course in terms of hours can be decided by students when they fill in the enrollment form. This kind of course is also suitable for children.

Italian for Pre-school, Primary and Secondary School age students:
When learning Italian at our school, your children will not only follow an excellent course of instruction but will also, most importantly, spend their time in contact with Italian children of the same age. This provides the best possible motivation and means to learn a foreign language. Children and teens can follow a course either in one of our schools or, if you prefer, in the apartment or villa where you choose to stay.

Solemar also welcomes children whose parents want them to learn Italian in a full-immersion setting. For these students, in addition to the Italian lessons, we arrange accomodation with an Italian family which has children of a similar age.

Business Italian Course:
This course is for those who, for work or personal reasons, have decided to learn Italian very quickly, without missing out on the advantages of attending dynamic group lessons. Our teachers work together as a team in order to offer the best lessons possible in a relaxing atmosphere.

Apprenticeship - Learning Italian on the job:
*Working as an apprentice with an Italian firm
*Attending regular language classes

This is an opportunity for students who would like to know more about southern Italy's working world. Students can achieve their goal by working for a period as an apprentice. Students will also attend a regular language course, focused on basic Italian business expressions and sentences. You can always find a member of the school nearby in case of need. In your one-to-one lesson you will develop the required business language as well as the language relevant to your future working sector. This is a wonderful combination of everyday spoken and business Italian language.
-4 week Italian course of 4 hours/day + 1 hour one-to-one lesson per day + a 4 week apprenticeship in an Italian firm, office or service centre.
