Practical Chinese Individual Course:
The course is ideal for participants who would like to extend or enhance their language skills with a private teacher according to personal learning needs. Its advantage is that you can freely determine the course contents and the times, what and when you would like to learn and practice. You can book packages of course hours from 1 to 120 hours for a specific number of people.
Group Size:
This course is offered for 1 to 5 people (maximum). Thus you can choose between individual private instruction or group private instruction. Instruction units generally consist of 50 minutes.
Course Content:
Course contents as well as course meeting times can be individually arranged with your teacher. You can decide if you would like to learn topics from our Continuation Course in Practical Chinese, or if you would prefer to have instruction in other individualized topics relating to the Chinese language.
Learning Goal:
You can set individualized learning goals together with your teacher. We make sure we meet your needs so you can achieve your goals.
Work & Study Program:
The Work & Study Program is a combination of language course and internship in China. It is aimed at younger participants who, by means of an internship, would like to gain initial professional insights into selected national and international companies in Shanghai. The combination of a Chinese language course and internship abroad offers the ideal conditions for this. First you take a four-, six-, eight- or ten-week-long language course at our school, and then you begin your internship in Shanghai.
Internship:
The unpaid internship allows you to enrich your language knowledge. Beyond this, it is the best way to learn more about the culture and ways of working in China. Based on your qualifications and training we will arrange an appropriate internship for you.
Course Duration:
The length of the Work & Study Program, including language course and internship, lasts a maximum of six months. The Work & Study program is offered in four different packages. Included in these are the language course and the internship in a selected company.
Requirements:
You are at least 20 years old and have completed (or are still completing) a specialized higher education, such as a university degree or similar qualification.
Certificates:
You receive two certificates, one from our school, and one from the company where you complete the internship.
Visa:
We are glad to support your visa application with the necessary information and documentation.
Evening Courses:
During your internship you can attend additional evening language courses at our school if desired.
