ABC provides group Portuguese classes and private Portuguese lessons for adults, teenagers and kids from beginner to advanced level. Private lessons can also take place at your San Francisco home or office, with day, evening or weekend classes available.

Evening classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours

Designed for those with no previous exposure to the Portuguese language, these classes help you to acquire basic grammar and vocabulary and to develop basic conversational and practical skills. 

Our lively and relaxed atmosphere lets you have fun while you learn and make friends with your fellow classmates in Portuguese. There is a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 students per class.

If you have some background in the language, or if you already speak more than one language, we will evaluate you so that we can send you a personalized recommendation based on your background.

• Above Beginner Portuguese Group Classes:
If you are not a total beginner, you will need to be evaluated before confirming your enrollment in a class.

Standard Portuguese Classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 3 / Maximum 10 students).


Private Portuguese Lessons:
For basic beginners to advanced learners

Taking private lessons means that you can learn at your own pace with the undivided attention of your teacher. Course content can be entirely customized around your interests and areas that you wish to improve.

You can take lessons once a week or every day if you need to. Just let us know your proficiency goals and we will recommend a schedule and program to meet those goals.


Skype / Online Portuguese Lessons:
Would you like to learn Portuguese online from the comfort of your own home or office, without the stress and expense of travelling to a traditional class!

Once you have an internet connection, web camera and audio headset, all you need to do is log in to Skype and meet your private Portuguese teacher online at times that best suit you.

Suitable for beginners to advanced level students, online Portuguese classes allow you to learn at your own pace with customized, one-on-one lessons with your own private teacher.
