Little Kingdom Child Care - Learning Center:
Little Kingdom is a one-of-a-kind progressive daycare and learning center right in the heart of Encinitas in the North County area of San Diego County, approximately 25 miles north of San Diego. Dedicated to providing an impressive, clean, fresh and safe environment that supports development and learning for children, Little Kingdom, a day care facility like no other, is the right place for your children. We offer child care for ages six weeks to twelve years.

Infant Room:
Our nursery is an enriched, caring environment with fully qualified teachers who can create connections that will last a life time. All of our infant teachers are CPR and 1st aid certified. Each teacher has 12 child development units, and 3 of the units must be infant and toddler. Our nursery staff know how important it is for infants to have a connection with their care takers and how important it is to be an extension of each child’s family. We make it our priority that each child stays with the same care giver everyday to be able to create a bond that’s loving, nurturing, encouraging and warm.

Our nursery is bright and full of visual stimulation. We encourage floor time everyday with lots of age appropriate toys that encourage social, emotional and cognitive development, motor skills and hand eye co-ordination. Our nursery allows each child to develop their own character and enhance their likes and dislikes by offering different stimulating activities, games and experiences.

We know that the transition from home to school can be very difficult at times so we try to bring our families in to the school by creating an environment that ties in their home life. As our infants become older, we offer activities that are sensory based to insure children began to learn how important texture is in the world around them. We work with programs like baby Einstein to begin cognitive development at an early age. We have mirrors in the class room so children can learn self recognition. We believe that children truly do learn from structured play, if the environment is set to encourage development.
