Centrally located in the Al Rayhan area of Abu Dhabi, The Laurel Nursery provides full and part time education and care for infants of 6 months up to 4 years of age. We provide an Early Childhood Education Program (ECEP, based on the most advanced and robust curriculum in the United States, High Scope), a Day Care Program (DCP), and a fun Summer Camp program for young students. We implement a dynamic curriculum designed to support children’s growth, development and learning. The teachers are all highly trained in early childhood development and the most effective early childhood teaching methods. Dubai English Speaking School (DESS) is the premier English National Curriculum, international primary school in Dubai, catering to over 800 children between Reception & Year 6 (4-11 years). We are conveniently located in Oud Metha (Al Nasr), a small residential locality in the city. Each year group has five classes with average class size between 22 and 24 students.Each year group has a year team leader who is one of the team of five class teachers. At Key Stage One each class, and at Key Stage Two each year group, has a learning assistant.
